VP, HR Technology and Operations

Overview

The Vice President of HR Technology and Operations will be responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of all HR systems and processes. This role encompasses oversight of HR systems design and delivery, central payroll operations, HR shared services, and people analytics to drive operational excellence and enhance employee experience across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to build out a new team and innovate ways of working for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Systems Design and Delivery: Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive HR technology solutions that support the organization’s strategic objectives. Ensure seamless integration and functionality of all HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, case management and employee engagement platforms. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure systems align with broader technological infrastructure and data security standards. Central Payroll Operations: Oversee the central payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across all company locations with oversight of 3rd party providers. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements. Implement process improvements and automation to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy. Central HR Shared Services: Develop and manage a centralized HR shared services model that delivers high-quality, efficient services to employees. Implement standardized HR processes and policies to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and employee satisfaction. People Analytics: Lead the development and implementation of a people analytics strategy to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Mature HR data capabilities from operational reporting to generating strategic insights that drive business decisions. Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of HR data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with HR leaders to use data insights to inform talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR technology, operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience in managing and optimizing HR systems and processes in a large, complex organization systems.  Strong knowledge of payroll operations and regulatory requirements including payroll providers such as ADP.  Expertise in people analytics and data-driven HR strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Proven experience leading teams and working in a global organization with employees in multiple countries.
