We are seeking a VP, National Business Development to lead the national sales division. The VP, NBD directs the execution of national sales vision, strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Identifies and evaluates new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Develops and uses contacts and relationships within the industry, business environment, and customer base to understand and respond to competition, pricing, and service demand changes. Oversees the development of proposals and contracts for new business opportunities and manages negotiations. Collaborates with FAC, NBD Account Management, franchisees, corporate marketing, local sales, corporate operations and other stakeholders to support business development plans.

Analyze, assess, and implement the vision and strategy for City Wide’s NBD sales team and City Wide Franchisees.

Implement national lead generation and sales processes to drive system revenue and growth goals.

Establish a list of potential national account prospects and increase NBD sales.

Negotiate and close contracts and sales proposals while implementing programs to increase growth and ROI.

Provide strategic planning to significantly increase the volume of NBD sales.

Develop innovative sales solutions to enhance brand recognition for City Wide.

Foster close working relationships and influence franchisees, and their employees to maximize their return on investment through NBD sales guidance.

Collaboratively participate in the City Wide Executive Leadership Team.

Ensures system-wide uniformity and adoption of City Wide’s NBD pricing programs, library of RFP responses, follow up protocols and all finalist presentations.

Provide train the trainer with the NBD sales team, and franchisees in industry expertise (bidding, negotiations and NBD sales/ops handoff).

Travel requirements – up to 60%; work at City Wide Home Office every other week and visit national business accounts as needed.
