The VP, Retail Digital Strategy provides executive leadership to Humana. This Executive will play an essential role in expanding Humana’s customer base through innovative, data-driven digital channels and initiatives. Entering a new era with new leadership, Humana has ambitions to step change its digital capabilities to create better customer experiences, improving attraction and acquisition of the right members, leading to retention and P&L value. Humana is seeking a Vice President and Head of Digital Acquisition to chart the path and lead this transformation.
With a strategic and results-oriented approach, this Executive will play an essential role in expanding Humana’s customer base through innovative, data-driven digital channels and initiatives. The ideal candidate will not only have expertise in digital marketing but will be a business-builder, possess a strong commercial focus, and the ability to align digital acquisition strategies with Humana’s broader growth goals.
The Vice President will drive the transformation of Humana’s digital customer acquisition efforts by leveraging digital platforms, emerging technologies, and data insights to target and engage new customers across multiple markets. This is a leadership role requiring visionary, disruptive thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry’s evolving digital landscape.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive digital acquisition strategy that aligns with Humana’s broader business objectives, focusing on expanding market share and customer engagement.
+ Identify growth opportunities in digital acquisition by assessing current gaps in customer acquisition and building a strategy to capture new customer segments.
+ Leverage data and analytics to provide insights into customer behavior and trends, optimizing acquisition tactics to drive measurable growth.
+ Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and technologies that can enhance Humana’s digital acquisition efforts.
+ Partner with internal teams, including Product, IT, CX, and Marketing, to build a unified acquisition strategy that leverages the full spectrum of digital tools and capabilities.
+ Leverage relationships throughout the enterprise and influence up and down the organization around new digital strategy needed for commercial growth.
+ Measure progress, outcomes, and ROI for digital projects with comprehensive and clear KPIs. Fine tune approaches as needed to ensure that Humana is investing in the appropriate tools and resources.
**Key Candidate Qualifications**
+ Digital Expert and Technical Acumen: A growth-focused digital expert with a proven track record in creating engaging digital experiences that seamlessly blend product, marketing and design. Technically astute and current on business/technology enablers; brings a deeply analytical and practical approach to best practices around digital acquisition.
+ Transformation and Growth Agent: Creates differentiation in the marketplace that leads to commercial outcomes and revenue growth for the business. Creates the “spirit of digital” throughout the organization. Changes basic habits and ways of working to be quick, agile teaming, learning, and innovation oriented. Understands changing customer needs and delivers frictionless experience for internal and external users.
+ Business and Functional Leadership: Proven track record of hands-on, cross-functional management experience to work closely with IT to deliver outstanding digital experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to the ELT and is a “go-to” expert on digital and technology strategy. Strong business acumen and commercial mindset to assess and solve organizational challenges, such as the integration of new technology and platforms.
+ Stakeholder Management. Proven track record of operating with credibility, gravitas, and the ability to influence across nuanced situations with external stakeholders. Gain buy-in and energize others around Humana’s vision and the opportunity to drive better care through effective digital strategies and capabilities.
+ Bachelor's Degree: Master's Degree preferred
