About the role:
The Global Retention Programs team are experts in ensuring that Gartner’s largest clients retain and grow their business with the company. This individual will lead team strategy and a team of leaders/individual contributors driving actions, plans, and strategies to influence Sales, Services partners to drive retention and growth in Gartner’s highest value/most complex accounts.
What you will do:
Lead team to deliver retention uplift and/or enable growth on Gartner’s top priority accounts clearly telling the story on value delivered within the Retention Lifecycle (“RLC”)
Lead team in producing key analyses, problem-solving and internal alignment/action planning ahead on renewals, capturing growth wherever possible
Own relationship with senior Sales leader of respective Channel (SVP+ level). Engage in/contribute to Sales strategy discussions, plans, and any channel-specific escalations from Operating Committee (“OC”) providing enterprise-wise vantage point on solutions
Challenge team to innovate client-facing processes, deliverables, and advise on successful strategies to influence Sales’ actions/impact on clients at the C-level
Enable directs at senior leader level to drive enterprise-wide insights and work streams at OC-level request on largest, highest value, and highest value/complex accounts
Coach team of increasing size/global remit on best practices related to standardization/scaling and challenging/influencing internally, prioritizing team deliverables against the enterprise-wide Sales strategy looking three quarters ahead
Leverage GRP front-line’s risk analysis and recommendations aligned with OC’s priorities and Sales strategy to proactively influence Sales, Services driving retention/growth outcomes with enterprise-wide impact
Lead critical Strategy Projects, programs and initiatives related to retention and growth across our largest/most valuable accounts, along with insights to the OC on respective channel
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field. MBA or specialized Master’s degree in related field strongly
preferred with relevant work experience (increasing levels of responsibility)
15+ years of experience leading teams to complete complex analyses and solve challenging business problems in consulting, investment banking, or strategy for a leading company and/or relevant product experience (by channel)
Experience across multiple lines of business; experience leading high-performing teams with focus on innovation/renovation of processes/deliverables

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 158,000 USD - 221,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
