The Vice President of Sales (VP of Sales) is a senior executive responsible for driving revenue growth and overseeing the sales strategy. This individual works closely with executive leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring market competitiveness and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Strategy and Planning: * Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with business goals. * Set revenue targets, forecast sales, and track progress toward achieving objectives. * Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture market share. Revenue Growth: * Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling. * Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop strategies that enhance the sales pipeline. * Monitor sales performance metrics and adapt strategies to address underperformance. * This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Customer Relationship Management: * Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. * Ensure customer satisfaction and address escalations promptly. * Gather customer feedback to improve product offerings and sales processes. Market Analysis: * Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences. * Develop pricing strategies and positioning tactics to stay competitive. * Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on market intelligence. Operational Excellence: * Optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and productivity. * Oversee the management of sales budgets and resources. * Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). * 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in durable medical supplies. * Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Company. * Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Company. * Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
