TOGETHER WE WIN® **THE OPPORTUNITY** We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to join our Strategic Finance and Investor Relations team as a VP. This high-visibility role will drive critical financial and strategic initiatives that shape the organization’s growth and investor engagement. The successful candidate will have a unique blend of banking, corporate finance, and strategy experience, coupled with a proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This individual will report to the SVP of Strategic Finance and Head of Investor Relations and will play a critical role on the team. The group is responsible for communicating the firm’s financial performance and strategy to external stakeholders, cultivating and deepening relationships with sell-side research analysts and institutional investors and developing financial strategies and driving corporate development initiatives. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates. **HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE** + **Strategic Finance:** + Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support corporate goals and objectives. + Oversee financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis to guide decision-making and identify opportunities for value creation. + **Investor Relations:** + Collaborate with the SVP to develop and deliver key investor communications, including quarterly earnings materials, presentations, and annual reports. + Build and maintain relationships with analysts, investors, and other key stakeholders to effectively communicate the company’s financial performance and strategy. + **Corporate Development:** + Identify, evaluate, and execute corporate development opportunities, including M&A, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives. + Conduct in-depth industry and market analysis to support growth strategies. + **Collaboration and Leadership:** + Work cross-functionally with finance, strategy, and operational teams to align initiatives with organizational goals. + Treat people with respect; keep commitments; inspire the trust of others; work ethically and with integrity; uphold organizational values; accept responsibility for own actions. + Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to EEO policy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educates others on the value of diversity; promotes working environment free of harassment of any type; builds a diverse workforce and supports affirmative action. + Follows policies and procedures; completes tasks correctly and on time; supports the company’s goals and values. + Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions. The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct. + Performs other duties and projects as assigned. **WHAT YOU’LL BRING** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Applied Mathematics or other quantitative field. + Eight (8) or more years’ experience in a progressively responsible Corporate Finance, Strategy, Banking, and/Investor Relations, with an emphasis on financial modeling, analytics, valuation, budgeting and strategic financial decision making or related role. + Three (3) or more years of direct management experience. + High degree of proficiency across suite of MS Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word. + Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. + Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic. + Strong knowledge of corporate development processes and strategic planning. + Motivation to succeed with strong initiative and ability to work independently. + Proven track record of building strong relationships and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to prepare and present materials to executive teams and investors. **HOW WE’LL SUPPORT YOU** + **Financial Security:** You will be eligible to participate in a 401k plan in which the Bank will match 100% of the first 4% of your contributions, which is immediately vested. + **Health & Well-Being:** We offer comprehensive insurance options including medical, dental, vision, AD&D, supplemental life, long-term disability, pre-tax Health Savings Account with employer contributions, and pre-tax Flexible Spending Account (FSA). + **Building & Supporting Your Family:** Banc of California partners with providers that offeradoption, surrogacy, and fertility assistance as well as paid parental leave and family support solutions including care options for your family. + **Paid Time Away:** Eligible team members receive paid vacation days, holidays, and volunteer time off. + **Career Growth Opportunities:** To support career growth of our team members, we offer tuition reimbursement, an annual mentorship program, leadership development resources, access to LinkedIn Learning, and more. **SALARY RANGE** The full-time base salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - 161,000.00 USD a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
