**Role Summary/Purpose:**
We are seeking an experienced VP for Asset Liability Management (ALM) Modeling & Data Governance to join our team. This role will be primarily responsible for overseeing and advancing the ALM modeling functions, ensuring the alignment of asset and liability strategies to optimize financial performance and minimize risk.

**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Develop, enhance, and implement ALM suite of models and non-models for interest rate risk and balance sheet management.
+ Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for capital management, funding, and liquidity planning.
+ Partner with Finance, Consumer Bank and Credit teams to understand and communicate any material changes to business forecast assumptions and its impact to financial models
+ Collaborate with ALM Production & Analytics for production runs, assumptions calibration, and scenario analysis
+ Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in ALM modeling techniques and technologies.
+ Collaborate with IT and data warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy and simplify and enhance existing data retrieval processes, and support necessary analytics and reporting deliverables
+ Support monthly ALM reporting processes leading to ALCO and related working groups and SEC Reporting
+ Ensure adherence to Model and Non-model policies and standards
+ Lead ALM related Supplier Management efforts
+ Maintain strong Process governance
+ Assist with implementation of key Treasury strategic initiatives and simplification efforts.
+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or in lieu of degree, 10-12 years equivalent experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in Treasury & ALM within a bank or 8 years' experience at a bank, with a strong understanding of ALM principles and banking regulations
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in ALM software tools like Empyrean or other ALM software
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and deliver creative results in a data environment.
+ Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks related to ALM and treasury operations.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market information.
+ Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to senior management and regulatory agencies.
+ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Access and PowerPoint), Power Query and Knowledge of other programming tools such as Python, Tableau is a plus
**Grade/Level: 12**
The salary range for this position is **110,000.00 - 185,000.00** USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
**Eligibility Requirements:**
+ You must be 18 years or older
+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
