Job Scope

The Vice President of Sales – CMF (VP CMF) is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profit goals for the CMF business segment. This role ensures alignment between Acumed’s strategic objectives and CMF market-specific initiatives, fostering growth through effective sales leadership, market analysis, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Vice President of U.S. Sales, the VP Sales - CMF leads a high-performing sales team, driving business development and ensuring exceptional customer relationships in the neuro, oral, plastic, and ENT specialties.

Duties/Responsibilities

 

Strategic Sales Leadership:

Develop and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.Establish revenue and profit goals while monitoring market dynamics and competitor activities.Optimize pricing strategies and inventory deployment to enhance competitiveness.

Market Growth & Business Development:

Identify growth opportunities through market research, customer feedback, and new product initiatives.Strengthen Acumed’s competitive position with targeted go-to-market strategies.

Team Leadership & Development:

Recruit, mentor, and empower a high-performing sales team.Collaborate with Regional Business Directors to implement territory strategies and drive accountability.Provide ongoing training to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and business acumen.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with key surgeons, hospital executives, and stakeholders.Represent Acumed at conventions, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and strengthen market presence.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.Conduct data-driven business reviews with top accounts and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Entrepreneurial Innovation:

Develop innovative solutions to customer and market needs, adapting to emerging industry trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.15+ years of medical device sales experience, with 7+ years in senior sales leadership roles managing direct and independent sales teams.Expertise in CMF markets, including neuro, oral, plastic, and ENT specialties, with strong technical knowledge of implants, instruments, and surgical procedures.Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that deliver measurable results.Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with professionals at all levels.Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends and business development principles.Experience managing CRM implementations and leveraging analytics tools to monitor sales performance and inform decision-making.High ethical standards and professional demeanor, with a patient-first mentality.
