This Vice President & Actuary position is responsible for supporting the Chubb Alternative Risk Solutions (CARS) team. Responsibilities include large account pricing, account structuring and capital and ROE modeling. The role is based in Philadelphia, PA reporting to the Lead Actuary for CARS.

Duties and Responsibilities related to this position:

Providing Actuarial support for large account pricing including experience rating, account structuring, capital and ROE modeling and post bind profitability analyses. Meeting with underwriters, clients & brokers to discuss/support findings. Presenting results of pricing analyses to senior management. Updating of pricing models and key assumptions. Reviewing quotes, binders and policies prior to issuance to ensure account structure and terms are represented properly. Ad hoc analysis as required.

 

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 10+ years of actuarial experience including large account pricing. ACAS or FCAS certification preferred, or equivalent industry qualifications. Proficiency in Excel is required. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to excel in this role.Strong organizational and documentation skills are required, along with the ability to prioritize multiple competing deliverables and manage time effectively to meet scheduled due dates.Strong collaboration skills are important, with the ability to work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
