Description Robert Half has partnered with a rising company and are on the hunt for a VP/Director of Finance to add to their team based in Cripple Creek, Colorado. This role primarily involves overseeing all financial and accounting operations, managing capital, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The VP/Director of Finance will also be tasked with auditing, budgeting, and managing a small team while still being in the books. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization • Leverage accounting software systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy • Develop and implement the annual budget, and monitor its execution • Conduct auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running of the financial department • Oversee capital management to ensure financial stability and growth • Produce regular financial reports for transparency and strategic planning • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling • Streamline budget processes for improved financial management. Requirements Requirements: • Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience at Controller level or management capacity • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems, ideally Sage. • Experience in developing and managing Annual Budget • Strong knowledge and experience in Auditing including sales and use tax. • Familiarity with Budget Processes • Demonstrated skills in Capital Management • Profound knowledge of Financial Reporting • Strong in Microsoft Excel • Experience in managing Operations within a financial department and strong interpersonal skills.
