VP/Director of Finance
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a VP/Director of Finance in our branch located in San Francisco, California. This role is situated in the non-profit sector and will involve overseeing all financial and accounting functions, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards. Responsibilities: • Provide leadership to the finance team and foster cross-functional partnerships within the organization. • Implement and manage the use of Salesforce and Financial Force for efficient financial operations. • Guide the organization in strategic financial decision-making, using strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ensure all financial operations adhere to GAAP and meet the compliance standards for charitable organizations. • Leverage expertise in non-profit fund accounting to maintain financial integrity. • Communicate financial data effectively to stakeholders with varying levels of financial knowledge. • Handle donor/grant compliance issues, drawing on experience in the non-profit sector. • Oversee the annual budgeting and auditing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Maintain and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable. • Utilize a variety of accounting software systems, such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, and Concur, to streamline operations. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3M experience in a finance-related role • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required • Knowledge of Concur systems is necessary • Proficiency in CRM usage is expected • Ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Proven track record in preparing and managing Annual Budgets • Proficiency in Auditing processes • Must have experience in Budget Processes • Experience in Non-profit Accounting is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
