VP EPIC

The VP of EPIC will lead the execution of EPIC’s vision and strategy (EPIC, or Enhanced Product innovation Collaboration, is the cross-functional unit responsible for new product development and launch at TMHCC and Tokio Marine Kiln) and provide program oversight for all managing general agencies (MGAs) working with TMHCC business units. This role ensures that all new EPIC products align with strategic objectives, comply with contractual and regulatory requirements, and achieve performance goals. You will also oversee recurring audit tasks for ensuring MGAs comply with TMHCC and regulatory rules, conduct quantitative program reviews and coordinate with business units and internal departments to ensure seamless execution.

This role focuses on underwriting, contract drafting and review, compliance, technology, and other operational requirements for launching new products.

As the VP of EPIC you will work in the TMHCC Specialty Group headquarters location in Wakefield, MA, reporting to the President of Tokio Marine HCC – Public Risk Group, Parametric & Innovation.

Your Skills and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree in business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field (MBA a bonus)Minimum of 12 years of relevant and progressive experience in multiple areas of specializationEight years of supervisory experienceFive plus years of experience in insurance program management, product development, MGA operations, or a related fieldExcellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacySuperior organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
