Axos is seeking a VP or FVP, Procurement who responsible for developing and executing an organization's procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and ensure a reliable supply chain. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals. This role involves strategic planning, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, risk mitigation, and driving innovation within the procurement function.Responsibilities:
Develop sourcing strategies in conjunction with key business partners to ensure achievement of business requirementsForm key category strategies, including outsourced services and IT/development, in collaboration with stakeholders, to address risk, total cost, supply, etc. Monitor economic drivers, supply market, to assess impact to Axos.Liaise with key internal stakeholders to determine their product and service needs; collaborate to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations are anticipated and met. Lead fit-gap analysisProactively bring cost management opportunities to stakeholdersSource and engage reliable suppliers and vendors, and initiate business and organization partnershipsExamine and test existing contracts; renegotiate as requiredLead contract negotiations planning and execution, in collaboration with internal stakeholdersProvide counsel to key stakeholders on both key legal and business terms during contract negotiationsDevelop vendor spend database and trackingSupport an improved source to pay process, including proper review of contracts by all necessary stakeholders, support coordination with Purchase Order creationOversee preparation of regular management reports and spend analysis (e.g., total vendors, vendor changes, new vendors, top vendors, Open Purchase Orders, highest vendors, contract compliance, etc.) and develops/reports on key performance indicators to measure performance and internal/external customer satisfaction levels. Track and report key functional and contractual metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessControl spend and build a culture of long-term savings on total cost of ownershipEnsure contract terms meet regulatory guidance and requirementsQualifications:
Bachelors' degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or relevant degree; MBA from a reputable university preferred5+ years of hands-on strategic sourcing and/or procurement operations or related role; demonstrated experience at companies with developed procurement / strategic sourcing practicesDeep experience working in procurement consulting, finance shared services, and outsourcing environmentThorough understanding of accounting controls in a Sarbanes Oxley environment, and managing or oversight of multi-entity and multi-state processes, including managing external service providers and vendorsManaged RFI/RFP process for large complex categories of spendProblem solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset; able to work with complex business challengesExcellent analytical abilities and ability to apply mathematical concepts such as statistical data, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsGood leadership and networking capabilitiesExcel proficiencyExceptional contract negotiationsSoftware contracts reviewThrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environmentAxos Employee Benefits May Include:
