Overview:

VP of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Technology is responsible for managing all aspects of Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing technology. Reporting to the VP/CIO, this role fosters professional, collaborative relationships with all levels of the organization and outside technology partners to achieve the strategic development and implementation of technology solutions across a company's entire supply chain and manufacturing operations.  This role oversees the integration of advanced technologies to optimize efficiency, cost reduction, quality control, and overall production flow, while aligning technology strategy with business goals and ensuring seamless data flow throughout the manufacturing process. 

Working within this area requires constant cross-functional thought and evaluation of end-to-end strategies of enterprise processes and operations for the scope of Global Sourcing, Corporate Planning, Customer Care, Logistics, Quality, Hard Surface, Fiber, Carpet, Carpet Tile, Samples, and Turf manufacturing.

This position develops, leads, and coaches a highly productive team of Directors, Senior Managers, associates, and outside partners that develop strategy, gather business requirements, integrate purchased solutions, develop custom solutions, optimize delivery of technology projects, and provide ongoing support.

Responsibilities

Responsible for building out and managing team focused on the strategic direction, project execution, and support of technology solutions for the Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations

Perform strategic role that works in partnerships with business leaders, technology solution providers, and IT to set the technology vision and direction.

Initiate and lead business discussions and drive ongoing engagements with Shaw executive leadership and principles at key technology suppliers.

Build consensus and deliver high-impact large scale transformational technology and analytic initiatives

Maintain and support a healthy technology portfolio that supports the growing business needs while minimizing risks providing the intended business value.

Strong problem solving, influencing, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.

Ability to support cross functional projects, across complex workstream with multi-layered technology solutions.

Possess strong Business, Financial, Technical, and People acumen.  They must have strong communication and analytical skills.  They must be results-driven individuals that are capable to work in a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and effective multitasking 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strategic thinking and ability to align technology with business objectives

Deep understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices

Extensive business acumen of manufacturing processes and technologies

Expertise in various technology solutions like ERP, MES, WMS, PLM, IT / OT and advanced analytics

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams

Strong project management skills

Qualifications/Experience/Education

15+ years in operational Supply Chain (plan, source, make, deliver) or IT positions

7+ years in Senior-level role in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or IT positions.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related business field.
