Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Responsible for the strategy and performance of the HME division; ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient care, and equipment delivery. Accountable to oversee, plan, direct and evaluate operations within budget parameters. Responsible to set performance expectations by following industry best practice operations and clinical guidance. **What you will do** + Provides visionary leadership for Avera@Home and the HME division that results in high functioning teams and operations, excellent clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility. + Provides guidance for company-wide strategic planning, mission, values, culture, leadership and policies as a member of the Avera@Home Administrative Council. + Develops short and long range strategic plans for Avera@Home and the HME division and develops and manages the budget for the HME division. + Responsible for networking and the formation of strong partnerships with other health care entities and providers within Avera and outside of. + Demonstrates the ability to lead staff and resources to reinforce the vision of the Home Medical Equipment division. These qualities can be described as creativity, innovation, insight, motivation, influence, commitment, and persistence. + Monitors industry trends for new patient care philosophies, models, technologies and retail sale items. + Accountable for meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets, which includes patients/family, physicians and employees and ensuring quality patient outcomes are achieved through systems and processes and monitor sustainability. + Establishes benchmark goals utilizing clinical and business intelligence data to guide operational and clinical activities and effectively deal with variances, including developing data, analysis, setting thresholds, and developing action plans which resolve discrepancies. + Accountable to monitor legislative activities and regulatory changes related to HME and ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation and licensure requirements. + In collaboration with the Avera Corporate Compliance Officer, assures the development and maintenance of corporate compliance plan for the Home Medical Equipment division. + Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
