VP IT Client Executive

PRIMARY PURPOSE:  Establishes and maintains a relationship between IT and the client, and improves client satisfaction, IT delivery and quality from IT assets, investments, and capabilities. The VP IT Client Executive is responsible for understanding the client needs, assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that provides maximum return on investment, and supporting IT teams in client specific deliveries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and manages the relationship between client and IT, driving delivery and quality to enhance value to the client.Ensures operations, client, and IT understand the technology solution, overall solution delivery, and compliance to governance processes and architecture standards.Guides stakeholders in prioritizing submitted projects and works with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize requirements; responsible to approve/sign-off on work items and time schedules to ensure deliverables are met.Manages the design development and deployment of client requirements.Coordinates application project delivery across business units in collaboration with other business units.Enables and drives a proactive client dialogue and an approach that is focused on maintaining a service, delivering value; maintains regular communications with clients discuss issues, policies and practices.Manages project teams and working groups as needed; identifies requirements, chairs meetings, sets objectives, goals, and timetables; monitors and evaluates the quality, accuracy and outcome of work; monitors and approves work upon completion and ensures deliverables are met.Engages with other IT organizations to research specific topics of interest to a client.Maintains an awareness of current and proposed technology issues and concerns.Looks for opportunities to leverage technology to achieve client objectives.Represents Sedgwick at internal and external meetings, working groups, committees, discussions and meetings.Drives outcomes with vendor and support staff that may be called in to resolve product support issues. 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.  Strong understanding of the Workforce Absence business is highly preferred.
