The Global Finance and Operations Team supports UKG’s day-to-day operations in Cash, Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Planning and Analysis, and much more. Global Finance and Operations works with customers, key UKG function leaders and teams across UKG to provide visibility into key financial metrics, along with best practice finance and accounting operations that keep our organization strong as we build the future of UKG.
About the Role: As we embark on our next phase of transformational growth and market leadership, UKG is seeking a Head of Transformation reporting directly to our President and Chief Financial Officer. This leader will play a pivotal role in driving transformational initiatives across the organization. This leader will work closely with executive leadership to identify cross functional strategic initiatives, optimize operations, and ensure successful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Transformation Leadership: Lead and manage large-scale, complex, multinational transformation initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This includes pricing model transformation, global cost structure optimization, and IPO preparation. Assess and prioritize transformation initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Project Management: Establish a high-performing PMO to drive project prioritization, resource management, and risk mitigation across cross-functional initiatives. Develop standardized methodologies and metrics for project success, supporting both innovation and operational goals. Provide visibility into project performance, working with leaders to resolve barriers, optimize resources, and ensure outcomes align with enterprise objectives.
Operate as One Team: Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to align organizational strategies with their expectations and needs. This involves listening to feedback, negotiating priorities, and maintaining transparent information flow to build trust and garner support for strategic initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor a diverse, small but mighty team of project managers, analysts, and strategic planners, cultivating a high-performance culture that values collaboration and accountability. Drive alignment and foster communication across departments to ensure buy-in and clear visibility on key initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on strategic planning, prioritization, and the project execution roadmap.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
10+ years of experience in enterprise business transformation and PMO/PMI leadership, in a technology or high-growth environment, particularly with exposure to SaaS or digital transformation initiatives.
Prior consulting firm experience highly preferred, demonstrating strong strategic problem-solving and ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving transformational organizational change
Demonstrated success in building and leading a PMO, ensuring project standardization, consistency, and accountability across the organization.
Strong analytical and project management skills, with experience in framing insights, developing metrics, and implementing data-driven decision-making processes.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on driving organizational alignment and execution.

10 years of PMO or PMI leadership

The pay range for this position is $256k to $350k, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
