VP of Engineering - Fusion Center

Join us as a Cyber Fraud Fusion VP of Engineering at Barclays, where you 'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence within our cyber, fraud, and economic crime teams.  You will harness technology to enhance customer security and prevent malicious activity, while ensure our customers have great experiences with our products and services. In this role you'll manage a team that identifies, analyzes, and mitigates potential fraud and economic crime threats by working with multiple teams across the bank to deliver control changes and process enhancements, to safeguard our customers.

To be successful as a Cyber Fraud Fusion Analyst, you should have experience with:

•    Direct experience working in cyber/fraud/risk intelligence
•    Prior experience developing enterprise technology solutions, and working with large, complex data sets
•    Experience developing and implementing risk and security protocols, and control enhancements for sensitive data and critical business processes
•    Hands-on experience designing and delivering risk-focused governance and controls frameworks
•    Prior experience managing a team of data and engineering professionals focused on risk and economic crime solutions

Other highly valued skills include:
•    Knowledge of malicious tools and techniques used by cyber/fraud/financial crime adversaries to target the financial sector including but not limited to fraud, compromised/false data, cyber-related (Trojans, Malware, Phishing, Smishing) 
•    Direct experience creating products and systems that monitor, detect and/or prevent unusual behavior or events within the risk and economic crime industry

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the banks systems and sensitive information.  

Accountabilities

Provision of subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns.Development and implementation of protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.Management and protection of secrets, ensuring that they are securely generated, stored, and used.Execution of audits to monitor, identify and assess vulnerabilities in the banks infrastructure/software and support the response to potential security breaches.Identification of advancements in to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.Collaboration across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies and regulatory requirements.Development/ Implementation and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.
