Make an impact
As the VP of Facilities for Bridge Senior living you will have direct oversight of all facilities-related matters in assigned operating regions. This includes onboarding new Maintenance Directors per company standards and ensuring that all communities operate within Bridge Basics Maintenance Standards to include TELS compliance.
Essential Responsibilities
Support the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
Special projects as assigned by Head of Facilities to include maintenance trouble shooting, vendor management, bids, etc.
As needed, provide on-site support to communities without a Maintenance Director within assigned area.
Implement all strategic company initiatives in the Facilities area within assigned operating region including, but not limited to: Physical plant quality compliance, Physical plant 1st impression program, Maintenance satisfaction scores (Senior Alliance and Activated Insights), Housekeeping satisfaction scores (Senior Alliance and Activated Insights), Preventative maintenance program/TELS compliance Safety program, and Director of Maintenance training, competence, overall performance Rent ready compliance
Emergency Management. Hosts ongoing Emergency Management Calls (cold weather, hurricane preparedness, etc.) and is the point person to orchestrate evacuation procedures within assigned region once Ops has made the call to evacuate. Responsible to be the hands-on / on-site leader in evacuations.
CEMP. Regular verification that each BSL community has their Emergency Preparedness Plans updated and approved by local Fire Marshall and Emergency Management annually. Work with property-level teams to draft, revise and implement such Plans.
E-call systems. Point person for trouble shooting, problem resolution, and standardization of the e-call system(s) and pagers, walkie talkies, pendants, and batteries within assigned operating regions.
Door and Window alarms. Verifies through TELS each week that each door and window alarm has been checked and documented within assigned operating regions.
Safety Management. Ensures all communities within assigned operating regions conduct monthly Safety Meetings. Provide safety training to property-level teams as needed.
Copiers. Manages copier program within assigned operating regions.
Phone systems. Manages ongoing phone systems issues and performs due diligence for new systems within assigned operating regions.
What you should bring
Bachelor's degree preferred and 5-6 years of related experience
Technical training in HVAC, plumbing and construction with three years' experience preferred, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in senior living maintenance or related trade.

Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation.
