About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a VP of Quality across both Home and Office divisions, reporting to the Division President of Home Print Solutions (HPS). This unique role combines strategic leadership with a customer focus mindset, operates efficiently, and maintains the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large organizations to support the delivery of HP Inkjet and LaserJet printers.
In this dynamic role, the VP of Quality will collaborate with stakeholders across various functions within the Print organization, champion large, cross-functional teams and projects across HP. The ideal candidate will demonstrate autonomy and strong leadership, represent the business effectively, and excel in collaborative efforts at all organization levels.
Responsibilities
Apply a systems-thinking approach to business and customer challenges and develop clear, succinct and compelling investments to improve the customer experience and business results.Create strategic and tactical operations and resource plans, goals, and priorities for the quality organization, based on the business and operations roadmap.Work in close collaboration across the technology stacks to transform the quality systems, from design and definition to successful implementation.Take a key part in NPI (New Product Introduction) processes, including direct responsibility for the PLC (Product Life Cycle) methodology and process.Responsible for e2e quality value chain, from the suppliers all the way to the customer feedback and back, working closely with engineering teams.Lead the customer facing team, in charge of integrating all the feedback coming from customers and translating to workplans, execution and monitoring in front of all relevant functions.Engage with operational and technical leaders to communicate programs status, escalate issues, guide and influence strategic decision-making.Manage escalated issues with outsourced partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedules, and costs; ensures that operations is effectively leveraging outsourced resources.Identify opportunities for and drives initiatives and programs to support business process improvements.Partner with HR and the leadership team to create an engaging employee communications strategy and support people priorities.Experience
Minimum 10 years relevant engineering and quality experience.Strategic thinker with strong business and technical acumen with demonstrated ability to set strategic direction, with passion and creativity for great products.Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations and communications.Strong analytical skills, structured thinking and problem-solving skills to direct team toward the right decisionsProven experience creating and executing plans for a large, diverse organization, including driving transformation.Demonstrated ability to build a strong team, influence direct and indirect reports, as well as peers, and create and sustain an environment of teamwork while driving change and delivering exceptional results.Strong leader with a track record of successfully leading in rapidly changing, complex and highly matrixed environments.Experience setting strategic goals and metrics to deliver outcomes.Track record addressing issues and building an organizational culture that works for all stakeholders, ensuring everyone works together to deliver on objectives.Ability to foster trusted relationships with leaders and subject matter experts, previous experience consulting and advising senior leadership team.Creativity, curiosity, and innovative thinking with a collaborative working style, across all levels and areas of responsibility.Skills

Recovers quickly from setbacks.The base pay range for this role is $300K to $326K annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
