VP of Revenue Management - Managed Hotels

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions!

\n

What will I be doing?

\n

The Vice President of Revenue Management - Managed Hotels will be responsible for the delivery of Revenue Management hotel support for company-managed hotels of every brand, the leadership of the above-property regional Revenue Management team, as well as the development and execution of effective Revenue Management strategies across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, and Latin America to achieve RevPAR and market share targets. This role will also be responsible for significant contribution to the advancement of Hilton’s Revenue Management discipline via the Global Revenue Management Leadership Team workgroup.

This role will report to the Vice President & Commercial Director - Americas Managed, and directly supervise a team of approximately 10 Regional Directors of Revenue Management. This position is fully remote and flexible on location.

\n

Other key priorities are listed below:

\n\nLead the continuous improvement of proactive Revenue Management strategy and tactic implementation across all brand types to improve Americas managed hotel performance in the achievement of established performance targets.\nWork closely with other Revenue Management discipline leaders across Hilton, as well as the Americas Managed Commercial Leadership Team, to deliver Revenue Management strategy and tactics that ensure the achievement of the annual performance goals of the business.\nMeet and communicate regularly with hotel owners, operations leaders, finance leaders, commercial services leaders, and other key internal and external stakeholders, to refine the commercial strategic direction, in support of Americas managed hotels.\nResearch and understand Revenue Management best practices from across Hilton Worldwide, the hotel industry, and other relevant industries that lead to the development and implementation of capability-improving projects across the global Revenue Management function.\nLead the assignment, phasing, and execution of critical Revenue Management projects to ensure resources are sufficient, appropriately allocated and objectives achieved.\nLead a disciplined process of personal development across the entire assigned team and work closely with Human Resources, direct reports, and other Revenue Management stakeholders.\nWork closely with Human Resources and Learning and Development to ensure clear learning and development expectations exist across the assigned team to enable on-going succession and advancement of personnel.\nEstablish clear performance expectations, objectives supporting those expectations, and a cycle of review to drive both leadership support and personal accountability of achievement.\nResponsible for performance analysis and communication, via weekly 5:15 report, monthly business review, and quarterly business review, with a dedicated lens towards the Revenue Management Key Strategic Priorities (RM KPIs).\nDevelop and lead regular communication processes to keep key stakeholders informed of progress against assigned projects or objectives as well as the development of business cases and other documentation required to gain approval for long-term Revenue Management projects.\n

What are we looking for?

\n

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

\n\nA minimum of ten (10) years of Revenue Management experience\nA minimum of five (5) years of experience at the Director level\nRevenue Management leadership experience of multiple hotels or equivalent \nCan travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes. There is potential for significant travel (50%+).\nDirect responsibility for multiple Team Members\nExperience developing budgets, forecasts, and managing expenses\nStrategic planning experience\nProject management and leadership experience\nAbility to direct and motivate direct and non-direct reports\n\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\nMA/MS Master’s Degree\nA minimum of fifteen (15) years of Revenue Management experience\n\n
