As the **VP Resource and Account Management,** you will be responsible for leading the supply chain agenda and managing relationships with large IDNs. Key areas of focus are:
+ Collaborating with supply chain and clinical leadership to set strategic expense agendas.
+ Developing annual supply expense management plans with Supply Chain and Financial leadership.
+ Coordinating the IDN dedicated resource team to optimize contracts, implement new contracts, and identify standardization opportunities.
+ Establishing regular reporting to ensure the supply expense management plan is on track.
+ Managing consulting or outsourced engagements to support the supply chain operational agenda.
+ Building strategic relationships with executive leadership, physicians, and supply chain leaders to implement a clinically integrated supply chain.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**What you will do in this role:**
**Leadership**
+ Provides leadership to guide all elements of member / HealthTrust relationship.
+ Provides leadership in the area of expense management to contribute to the large IDN’s overall strategic plan to improve supply and pharmacy expenses in a variety of departments.
+ Provides leadership to service line directors in the area of expense management to contribute to member’s overall supply expense management plan.
+ Works with service line directors, clinical resource directors, and supply chain leadership to establish and ensure ongoing effectiveness of facility value analysis teams.
+ Provide leadership to account management and implementation resources to ensure customer relationship is being preserved at highest level.
+ Assimilates information from variety of sources, able to analyze data and make strategic recommendations and executes a course of action for all elements of supply expense management and supply chain operations.
**Customer Service**
+ Responsible for managing customer expectations and delivering cost savings according to estimated timelines
+ Utilizing customer participation in the process to achieve goals and objectives
+ Direct account management functions specific to the relationship with the IDN.
+ Interacts and develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders to better understand needs and challenges, which may include clinicians, physicians, supply chain, hospital, and system leadership.
+ Provides educational opportunities to customers to understand the expense management program.
+ Builds and maintains strong, effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders with the member’s corporate and facility services lines, HealthTrust, Supply Chain, and the organization’s leadership and Regional Value Analysis Teams.
**Financial**
+ Establishes and meets supply expense savings goals for customers as requested.
+ Collaborates with organizations to track and analyze financial data which may include but is not limited to supply expense savings.
+ Provides cost saving enhancement strategies to support supply expense management plan through direction to service lines working with customers, representatives, and HealthTrust contracting teams.
+ Develops standardized documents, processes, and calculations for use by the team to quantify savings solutions.
**Project Management**
+ Directs multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
+ Demonstrates the ability to develop a project plan for major and complex projects.
+ Develops milestones for projects to determine when outcomes are achieved, that includes facilitating customer teams that lead to building consensus and contract implementation.
+ Assigns goals to direct reports as appropriate and monitors goal achievement.
**General Knowledge/Competencies**
+ Extensive knowledge of healthcare and/or Supply Chain/Materials Management.
+ Provides effective communication which includes verbal, listening, writing, and presentation skills to a variety of stakeholders from executives to staff.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary, matrix-reporting team as a group leader, facilitator, and/or participant.
+ Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills, which include understanding issues, ability to simplify and process complex issues, and understanding the difference between critical details and unimportant facts.
**What Qualifications you will need:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ Graduate Degree at the Master’s level, such as MSN, MHA, MS, Pharmacy, or Pharm D.
+ 15+ years of healthcare management experience in either an administrative, financial, or supply chain/materials management leadership capacity.
+ Multi-facility or system leadership experience - coaching and developing teams
+ Demonstrated, successful project management experience with coordination and measurement of project deliverables.
+ Advance computer skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Software skills with data warehouse and/or Micro Strategies.
