VP Revenue Management - Multifamily Asset Management

Vice President of Revenue Management

Job Summary
As a Vice President of Revenue Management, you will lead the revenue management team to develop and execute revenue management strategies to optimize rental income and occupancy across our multifamily portfolio. Your responsibilities include analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand, conducting regular reviews, and providing insights for adjustments. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Reports to: Director of Revenue Management

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Asset Management and Property Management teams to ensure alignment with revenue goals and strategies.Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize rental income and occupancy.Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and economic indicators to inform pricing decisions.Utilize data analytics and revenue management software to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Lead and mentor a team of revenue management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Prepare and present regular reports on revenue performance to senior leadership.Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate strongly preferred.  MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of Pricing, Revenue Management, Financial Analysis, Property Operations, or Property Management experience required.Proven track record of developing and executing successful revenue management strategies.Familiarity with LRO, YieldStar, or AIRM is a plus.Experience using Yardi a plus.Experience with Excel, Power Point and Word required.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization through both verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Possess strong organizational skills and sense of urgencyWorks well independently, takes initiative and can effectively prioritizeStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, motivate and develop associatesAbility to work outside normal business hours on a regular basis due to the time sensitivity of revenue management

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$125,000.00 - $150,000.00

This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual base salary.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
