ResponsibilitiesLead the organization’s risk financing function including identification, quantification, financing and mitigation processes with direct oversight for Insurance Operations, Workers’ Compensation, Captive Operations, Commercial Insurance products and Risk Analytics.
Responsibilities:
Set goals and is accountable for the performance of the annual risk budget and trust forecasting in collaboration with Finance. Recommend optimized risk financing structures for the casualty risk programs, property programs, cyber risk programs, workers’ compensation and all other risk transfer programs and other affiliated health plans.Ensure compliance for dissolution of captives acquired through merger and acquisition activity.Provide strategic guidance to support the establishment and maintenance of innovative claims reporting and recovery from insurers and clinical risk management functions. Expedite insurance recoveries and align goals and work processes to address organizational objectives.Educate senior leadership on insurance portfolio cost impact to the organization. Drive support and opportunities for improvement. Provide strategic and conceptual direction on visualizations of actionable data for the organization's use.Oversee the growth, performance, and profitability for affiliated provider insurance programs. Develop new commercial insurance products and provide solutions for organizational population health initiatives.Identify enterprise-level key risks through effective practices and policies that support the organization’s operating objectives. RequirementsEducation:
