Job Title: VP Solution Delivery (This position is Hybrid working 3 days a week in the SBH Support Center)

Essential Function
Responsible for developing and implementing IT initiatives that will advance operational efficiencies, improve company-wide decision-making and communication, increase revenues, drive cost efficiencies, and strengthen financial reporting and controls, in a rapidly growing retail organization. Lead the overall systems development life cycle - Areas of responsibility include POS, credit, e-commerce, order management, mobile application, marketing/personalization platforms, enterprise integrations and enterprise architecture.
Primary Duties
30% Perform strategic planning and coordination to provide a technology roadmap for the supported areas. The planning and coordination would include: interaction with key business leads, internal IT leaders, and key technology vendors. Roadmap would be updated regularly to meet changing business needs and technology maturation.
30% Direct all aspects of the implementation / deployment of technology solutions for supported areas to include design, development, testing and deployment of technology solutions. Provide direction to the internal team and technology vendors for delivery of technology solutions and ensure proper accountability.
20% Manage the business relationship for IT teams. Work with business leaders on intake/prioritization of project ideas, provide subject matter expertise on technology solutions, communicate project statuses, and help facilitate for IT Operations.
10% Direct and manage external vendors and consulting teams effectively to ensure accountability and successful delivery for complex large projects.
10% Achieves efficient cost control by operating within the operational budget and achieve Corporate Sales & EBIT objectives. Assist with the development of business cases for new technology implementations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business or Computer Science) Knowledge of the software development lifecycle Prior experience with ERP and Merchandising implementations; 10 years of experience in designing, developing and supporting enterprise software applications 15 years of experience in management of Information Technology; Effective management of talent through hiring, performance management, talent development, and ongoing assessment of organizational structure. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
