VP Total Rewards

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Vice President, Total Rewards leads team member compensation, benefits, and employee health and wellbeing strategies. The Total Rewards leader envisions, develops and implements systemwide strategies which are aligned with AdventHealth’s organizational strategies and business needs. The VP Total Rewards closely collaborates with business leadership and human resources leaders throughout the system to drive business results. The VP Total rewards ensures all programs meet compliance and ethical standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Provide leadership and oversight of the team member compensation strategy, developing and implementing all aspects of cash compensation for team members

· Lead all aspects of team member benefits strategy, developing and implementing all non-cash compensation for team members

· Set the strategic direction for team member wellbeing, focused on delivering whole person care

· Set the vision and strategic direction for employee health and safety with a focus on delivering whole person care

· Optimize employee health programs and services across AdventHealth but ensure team members have the tools, support, and education to deliver on our team member promise of whole person care

· Inspire, develop and grow the Total Rewards team to achieve the organization’s mission and objectives

· Define and develop goals, metrics and key performance indicators in all areas of oversight

· Incorporate new trends and developments into planning and development of strategies

· Build systemwide strategies that attract, engage and retain critical talent

· Collaborate with market leadership, other centers of expertise (COEs) and shared services on improving the leader and team member experience as they relate to total rewards

· Develop and implement continuous improvement in creating visibility and insight to the value of the total rewards program to leaders and team members

· Assess financial viability of total rewards programs and return on investment

· Ensure total rewards compliance with all laws, regulations and ethical standards

· Lead total rewards due diligence and integration activities with all mergers and acquisitions

· Ensure governance and compliance of system employee health initiatives

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Expert knowledge of compensation, benefits wellbeing, and employee health programs

· Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

· Understanding of database structures and general HRIS

· Knowledge of regulations and state and federal laws

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

· Knowledge of PeopleSoft

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Bachelors degree in business, human resources or related field

· Minimum 10 years experience in compensation or benefits field with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

· Masters degree in business or human resources

· Healthcare industry experience

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

· Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Benefits Professional or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist
