Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a VTC/AV Installer to support their law enforcement customer! The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of video teleconferencing (VTC)/AV systems and will be proficient in handling various types of cabling and related hardware. The Installer will work closely with personnel and customers to ensure the successful implementation of VTC solutions.

Follow schematics for the installation of VTC/AV systemsInterpret installation drawings and design packages, applying that knowledge to cabling installationPromote a safe work environment and implement safe work practicesHandle and install LC, MTRJ, and SC connector terminationTest fiber-optic and copper cabling systems for accuracy and reliabilityInstall various types of cable tray, PDS, and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit up to four (4) inchesDocument any red-line changes to drawings accuratelyProvide effective communication to ensure all installation work is understood and completed correctly

Requirements

2+ years of experience installing AV and/or VTC systemsProficiency in handling, installing, and testing fiber-optic and copper cabling systemsExperience in installing various types of cable tray, PDS, and EMT conduit up to four (4) inchesAbility to accurately document red-line changes to drawingsEffective communication skills

Able to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
