We are seeking a skilled and independent Security Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security automation, system administration, and vulnerability management, along with hands-on experience in scripting, cloud environments, and technical troubleshooting. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing time-sensitive tasks and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement security automation solutions for middleware, network devices, servers, databases, and third-party applications.Support and enhance Vulnerability and Patch Management processes.Utilize tools like Ansible or Tanium for vulnerability remediation and configuration.Create, manage, and optimize scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.Work with REST and/or GraphQL APIs to integrate and w streamline automation processes/ tools.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem).Document workflows, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and provide technical documentation as needed.Ensure proper version control and collaboration using GIT.Required Qualifications:
Proven security automation experience across diverse technologies and platforms.Strong familiarity with Vulnerability and Patch Management best practices.Hands-on expertise with patch management tools like Ansible, Tanium WSUS, BigFix, Automox, Qualys...Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs.Solid background in system administration, including RHEL, Windows Server, and VMware ESXi.Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts.Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently under time-sensitive deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications in security, cloud, or system administration (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Red Hat Certified Engineer).Integrate and automate processes with ServiceNow (SNOW).Previous experience delivering on E2E automating vulnerability management process.Are you the right candidate?
