We are seeking an experienced Samsung Wallet QA Engineer to join our team at Samsung to ensure the software quality of Samsung Wallet blockchain features integrated into Samsung products. This candidate will be responsible for understanding the industry standard Digital Wallet testing method/processes and bringing this knowledge to improve the quality of Samsung Wallet to end users. 

Quality Assurance:

Examining critical user journey and test case output for each project milestone.

Process improvement:

Evaluate big data/market data to pinpoint current needs and improvement areas.

Failure case analysis:

Supported collecting data to analyze software failure types and root causes.

Collaboration:

Being able to work with people outside of the team to reach a common goal

Experience or knowledge of test processes for Digital Wallet features/productsExperience or knowledge of Cryptocurrency and its marketsExperience or knowledge of blockchain and how it operatesExperience or knowledge of software testingExperience or knowledge using Big Data for strengthening testing strategy/scope/processStrong analytical skills, which involve critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues that arise

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the mobile device industryBS in Engineering, data science, or related technical fieldKnowledge of SDLC & QA test methodologies i.e. Agile, WaterfallStrong understanding of QA best practices, including test planning, test case design, defect/test management, and Bug reportingA skilled specialist who completes tasks in resourceful and practical ways with a strong multi-tasking abilityMay contribute to the development of concepts and techniques as well as complete complex tasks in creative and effective waysExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide practical solutions to improve quality

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with any form of Digital Wallet is highly desirableKnowledge/experience with Cryptocurrencies and its industryExposure to blockchain concepts and operationsProficiency in Korean language is desirable, but not mandatory
