Summary
The Warehouse 1 position is responsible for executing daily warehouse activities and processes as defined by the Warehouse Supervisor. The responsibilities come with a wide range of material handling throughout the plant, which includes packing of orders, storage and labeling of products, loading and unloading of trucks under general supervision and reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. Additionally, a Warehouse 1 employee will utilize equipment throughout the workday to facilitate these aforementioned responsibilities. This equipment typically includes the use of forklifts, stackers, overhead cranes, banding and packaging supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities

Loads and unloads trucksPicks and packs orders as needed from both inside and outside warehouse locationsMoves, stocks, and receives material from outside vendors and internal departmentsSelects and delivers raw material for production supportAssists in inventory level maintenance and cycle countsOperates warehouse equipment, such as fork trucks, stackers, order pickers, and overhead crane systems, as needed to complete tasksFollows warehouse safety regulationsProvides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to less experienced team membersGeneral housekeeping and 5S duties (sort, shine, straighten, standardize, sustain)Grinds, assembles, and/or product handling as neededOvertime required as needed

Preferred Qualifications
