DESCRIPTION:

The primary role of the Warehouse Administrative Assistant includes high-level administrative functions as they relate to warehouse operations such as (but not limited to) receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities (Include, but not limited to, the following):

Coordinate and process shipments, including creating shipping labels and tracking orders. Manage and maintain shipping documentation, records, and files. Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries. Address and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays or damages. Assist in customs compliance and documentation for international shipments. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking of shipping supplies. Collaborate with the team to improve shipping processes and efficiency. Prepare regular reports and performance metrics for shipping activities.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

Proven experience in shipping and logistics or a related field. Familiarity with customs compliance and international ship Due to the high degree of interaction with the team, supervisors, management and peers, you are expected to have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be proficient in oral comprehension, oral expression and written comprehension. Must have strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology. Deadlines are important; therefore, you must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and exercise time management in a fast-paced environment. Must be computer literate, proficient in word and excel. Must be thorough and pay attention to detail. Must be a team player with the ability to work with a diverse group of people as well as work on your own. Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy. Problem-solving abilities. Must be able to work full-time, which may include some early evenings and weekends as necessary. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or its equivalent A minimum of two years’ experience in providing strong administrative support for a diverse team of professionals and peers.

 

Expected annual salary range for this job is commensurate with experience.
