PURPOSE: 

Responsible for providing clerical support in the distribution warehouse.

SCHEDULE:

Sunday - Thursday, 5:00pm - 1:30am (rotating Fridays as needed)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepare store invoices and billing of store deliveries Assign reference numbers to the appropriate routes Monitor trip leave times Provide customer service assistance to Supervisors Look up UPC’s of unidentified REV and Joliet product Process delivery receipts Plan and prioritize workload to ensure that billing is completed timely for the store deliveries Filing pick tickets, exception orders, trip sheets, load controls Performs other relevant job duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 

Previous experience with warehouse/distribution systems preferred Previous Accounting/Bill Experience preferred

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

Ten-key calculator proficiency Computer knowledge and experience a must: online billing & routing Good communication & people skills Must work well under pressure and deadlines Must be available to work holidays Must be detail oriented

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:

 Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.   Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
