Position: Warehouse Administrator (Nights)

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: OVERNIGHTS - Sunday to Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Starting Pay Rate: $20.75/hour + $1.50 night shift premium = $22.25/hour to start

Language Requirements: English

Location: Richmond, B.C.

Purpose:

The Warehouse Administrator provides administrative support related to the various warehouse processes and reporting as directed by the warehouse management team.

Job Responsibilities:

Preparing pick labels for distribution to Order Pickers Entering any add-ons to orders into the system; ensures the add-on process is completed entirely and accurately Conduct discrepancy research; make adjustments in system as necessary Record and report discrepancy findings; recommend actions to improve and reduce inventory loss shrinkage within facility Responsible for Way-billing and invoicing Meets and exceeds established goals and objectives within the distribution facility Observes all Company safety policies and procedures. Performs all duties in a highly ethical manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma required

Experience:

 1–2 years of administrative and/or data entry experience within a warehouse environment (preferred)

Required Knowledge:

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Knowledge of Retalix an asset Knowledge of AS400 an asset

Skills and Abilities:

Strong data entry skills Skilled at typing; able to type 45 WPM Strong attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to multi-task, handle multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word and Outlook; competent to learn and adapt to new computer applications, system upgrades and other technology as necessary Able to develop and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals throughout the organization; a team player

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
