JOB PURPOSE
The Warehouse Analyst is a key player in managing and optimizing operations within the Label Distribution Center (LDC) of a pharmaceutical sterile injection manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the accurate handling, storage, and distribution of product labels, which are critical to regulatory compliance and product quality. In addition, the Warehouse Analyst serves as the department’s Change Control owner, ensuring that all process changes are documented, reviewed, and implemented in accordance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves tracking and reporting key performance metrics for the department, driving continuous improvement efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production timelines and maintain operational excellence.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Label Management and Distribution
Monitor the receipt, storage, and distribution of product labels to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Perform routine checks to verify the integrity, quality, and version control of labels. Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of labels for manufacturing runs.Data Analysis and Reporting
Track and analyze inventory levels for the LDC using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms. Prepare and maintain detailed reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and usage trends. Provide insights for decision-making and support demand forecasting efforts.Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure all label handling procedures comply with FDA, cGMP, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations. Conduct periodic audits of label storage and distribution processes to identify and address potential risks. Support investigations and corrective actions related to labeling errors or deviations. Initiate/Own Change Controls related to the department.Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for workflow optimization within the LDC and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with the procurement and quality teams to implement new processes or technologies.Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaise with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure label requirements are met seamlessly. Serve as a point of contact for internal and external audits related to warehouse and labeling operations.Inventory Management
Oversee physical and electronic inventory of labels, ensuring accurate documentation of movements and transactions. Coordinate cycle counts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 3-5 years of procurement experience with demonstrated experience with direct materials sourcing/ procurement.
Preferred: Experience in cGMP environment with knowledge in SAP or similar ERP system.
