Job Description

-          Prepare and run tender project for logistics services for tire OE business in China region

-          Execute standard tender processes in close collaboration with internal business partners

-          Take part in warehouse inspection and negotiations with logistics service providers from business side                                                                                                                      

-          Responsible for coordination with the service provider, monitoring of service quality for both warehouse and transport

-          Train service providers based on Continental standards and procedures

-          Regular warehouse performance KPI review with service provider with action plan followed up

-          Take lead to complete onsite operation check for key warehouses

-          Conduct & resolve problems concerning warehouse, RDC delivery activities

-          Handling customer logistics complaints                                                  

-          Implement cost verification process for PLT OE China market, improving transportation cost transparency

-          Develop and execute regular report about budget update, Forecast change, actual cost tracking, premium logistics cost control

-          Drive cost reduction for OE China warehouse & logistics actives

-          Monitoring stock level and ensure regular stock report from service providers                                     

-          Align with internal partners to set up for new SOP delivery for OE business, both domestic & import routine

-          Handling transportation complaint with internal partners & external logistics vendors

-          Conduct & resolve problems concerning import & export activities, D&D cost avoidance                  

-          Take initiative to optimize current process regarding to warehouse operation, cost verification, delivery process, etc.

fulfill tasks assigned by department head when needed 

Qualifications

-          Bachelor degree or above, commercial education, preferred in Logistics area

-          3-5 years' working experience in logistics (especially in warehousing and distribution)

-          Experience more than 3 SCM projects

-          Knowledge of SAP preferred

-          Project leadership is a plus, conflict management

-          Intercultural sensitivity
