Our Edmonton office has an opportunity for a Warehouse Manager within our Geospatial Group. This is an important role for our team as the Warehouse Manager is critical to keeping our field crews operational, efficient and safe. The successful candidate will work closely with field crews and BC leadership to purchase and organize equipment and supplies, maintain and track inventory and manage the operations of the warehouse facility. Please note that this is a full-time position, that may be combined with other duties, depending on the candidate’s interests and capabilities. **Your Key Responsibilities** * Shipping, ordering and receiving consumables, PPE and equipment for a variety of field projects. * Equipment organization and maintenance: - Work with BC leaders to develop tracking system. * Maintain inventory list of equipment. * Maintain equipment calibration records. * Contact for facilities coordination with respect to the warehouse. * Collaboration with multiple groups within Stantec. * Fleet vehicle management – coordinate/schedule repairs, storage, crew setup, rentals/leases. * Could also include technical support for crews and data processing/calculation/CAD support. * Complete monthly warehouse inspections and maintain required safety records in support of the BC OSEC. * Support field crews for pickup and delivery of equipment if required. **Your Capabilities and Credentials** * Requires ability to work well in a team environment. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Strong organization and communication skills. * Understanding of typical field equipment and requirements. * Ability to respond to requests in a timely manner. * Availability to start work at the warehouse early (~7-7:30) weekdays. * Valid driver's license and a good driving record. * Knowledge and experience related to survey field work and equipment (particularly Trimble) is an asset. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Trimble Business Centre would be an asset. * Demonstrate a focus on safety and risk analysis and mitigation. * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to equipment. **Education and Experience** * Post-secondary education in a Geomatics or Civil program would be considered an asset. * Minimum of 2 years previous experience in field survey work is preferred. * Basic knowledge of CAD standards and familiarity with Trimble survey equipment would also be beneficial.
