PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production commenced in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

The expert will be responsible for the coordination of the local Semiconductor Warehouses in Malaysia and definition of Material flow and process improvements within the global SC Production Network (Focus APAC).

Responsible for supervising of transportation activities (focus on APAC) and leading of improvement projects with focus on cost reduction.

To supervise and coordinate of the operations in our local Finished Goods WarehouseTo monitor 3PL performance and create performance evaluation based on KPI (Key Point Indicator) – including regular on-site visitsTo define and execute the measures to improve 3PL performance – focus on lead time, quality and costsTo report of 3PL performance and improvement measures frequently to Bosch ManagementTo analyze Semiconductor material flow in APAC and initiate improvement projectsTo supervise transportation (focus APAC) activities and leading of projects to reduce transportation costs and timeTo close collaboration and knowledge exchange with central team in GermanyTo deal with customs topics and consult the Management for strategic decisions (e.g. Relocations)Other additional tasks as per superior instructions

QualificationsBachelor Degree in Logistics or Management studiesMinimum 5 years working experiences in related field. Preferable having at least 2 years in leadership and 3 years of project management experiencePossess a high level of intrinsic, motivation and joy in inventing of new solutionPossess strong intercultural communication & corresponding skills and able to work in team environment with initiative and willing to learnIn-depth knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Supply Chain Management, planning competence with structural, analytical way of workingThe candidate must be assertive, able to deal with conflicts, high level of intrinsic motivation & able to lead of projects and topicsEfficient working candidates with an open minded and change management & flexible on overtaking responsibility Open for business trip and able to travel to China and Germany for training
