Our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified **Warehouse Asset Collection Technician** to join their team **onsite** in Bloomfield, CT. This will be a 1-year Contract with possibility of extension. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Load and unload boxes onto pallet(s) from loading dock to warehouse + Remove computers / equipment from boxes and break down boxes + Manage the collection of all returned IT equipment - laptops, desktops, Thin Clients, peripheral equipment such as monitors, docks, printers, desk phones, network equipment, etc. + Sort and organize E-waste and reusable IT equipment + Separate all returned computer devices to check devices in, and update and close any corresponding collection and evaluation tickets (Excel and IT ticket systems experience preferred, asset management experience and Service Now experience a plus) + Notify legal team of any collected legal hold devices for processing + Check in and update all dropped off devices from the IT zones, or from deskside support teams + Mail back and return mobile devices to the correct support team + Manage any one-off return kit request for collection request + Wipe down any extremely dirty machine when received + Report any inventory need (boxes, cleaning, warehouse materials) to be ordered.
