Volt is immediately hiring for Warehouse Assistants in Ridgeland, South Carolina

\r\n\r\n

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPersonally exhibit, recruit, and coach associates consistent with Core Behaviors.\r\n\tPromote a culture of safety.\r\n\tReceive and verify incoming shipments against packing slips.\r\n\tAccurately sort, maintain, and stage products.\r\n\tReject damaged goods and forward them to Purchasing for processing.\r\n\tPut away stock ensuring proper labeling and placement.\r\n\tReceive purchase orders, pick products, and package them for shipping.\r\n\tCheck items to be shipped against picking tickets to assure quantities, destinations, and routing are correct.\r\n\tPerform cycle counts of inventory and work with the Purchasing department to correct discrepancies.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience in warehouse operations.\r\n\tAttention to detail and accuracy.\r\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\r\n\tStrong organizational skills.\r\n\tBasic computer skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
