Our client in the Tempe, AZ area is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate for their location. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of previous warehouse experience in receiving materials and shipping materials. Our client's warehouse job involves receiving, storing, and shipping goods. You will also be responsible for unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for shipment. This role also includes other tasks like checking stock, production duties, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The Day-to-Day:

Request quotes for cartage as needed, confirms ship dates.Schedules or monitors pickup, delivery, or distribution of materials.Provides routing information to ensure delivery times and locations are coordinated.Respond to customers' or shippers' questions regarding services.Tracks shipments while in transit and expedites orders when necessary.Inspect the physical condition of incoming products. Can inspect warehouse facilities, vehicles, or equipment and schedule testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.Follow standards and procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping products.Follows plans for changes in space allocation.Receive all forklift batteries, charge batteries as needed, monitor batteries during charge times, repackages all batteries, and inspects as needed.Order shipping/warehouse supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaPrevious 2+ years warehouse experience in receiving materials and shipping materialsAdvanced computer skills are a plus.Previous job stability.Able to lift 50lbs unassisted

Pay Rate:

$18.00 /hr

Schedule:

Monday to Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
