Job Description:As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for packaging products by skid, crate, or box for shipping and processing standard shipping paperwork. You will support assembly with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials, and safely remove and dispose of wood, plastic, metal, and other packaging materials according to standard procedures. Additionally, you will update storage bin information and identify and locate materials using SAP, complete routine inspections of material handling equipment, and operate turret truck forklifts to pick orders and sit-down forklifts to move picked orders from racks to shipping. You will also unload and load trucks using forklifts, visually inspect parts, and move them to receiving parts staging, as well as transfer scrap materials to the unloading area and dispose of them in the dumpster. Qualifications: + Experience in material handling, shipping & receiving, warehouse distribution, packaging, inventory control, order picking, unloading, and production. + Proficiency in forklift operation (sit-down and turret truck). + Previous experience with warehouse inventory and shipping systems.
