**Job Title: Warehouse Associate** **Job Description** RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. • Operation of forklifts, packaging and labeling of customer orders, and utilization of computer systems to process receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments. • Inspect incoming product and verify against shipping manifest for accuracy. • Elevate inventory discrepancies to inventory control or management for resolution. • Effectively work with QA organizations to disposition incoming product. **Hard Skills** + High School Diploma or GED + Ability to perform basic math + Ability to read product labels and picking sheets + Forklift certification, or ability to become certified + Ability to communicate discrepancies to warehouse supervisor + Operate rolling pushcart, electric forklift, and manual pallet jack **Soft Skills** + Ability to understand and make decisions based on written operating procedures **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Portsmouth, Virginia. **Work Environment** Frequently exposed to moving equipment such as forklifts and rolling carts. Exposed to temperature controls in the warehouse. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions when loading doors are open.
