As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of Cvent's technical warehouse team, that oversees the shipping and receiving of Cvent's technical equipment for client events. You will be responsible for both receiving & unpacking as well as picking & packing orders to support client onsite events. You will also work closely with other teams in the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to client events. This is an entry-level position that requires minimal experience or education in the field. You will learn on the job and receive training and guidance from your team and supervisor. This is an hourly position with variable shift hours starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 7pm that requires flexibility to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. It is a fully in-person role and requires commuting to the warehouse 5 days a week. You will report to the Warehouse Manager. In This Role, You Will: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Order Fulfillment: Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from inventory and packing them for shipment according to established procedures. General Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders, and prepare assets for deployment and redeployment at client events. Technical Receiving: Conduct regular maintenance and perform troubleshooting to prepare technical assets for redeployment at client events. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records by ensuring proper data entry, scanning assets accurately, and complying with established procedures. General Warehouse Tasks: Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Lifting and carrying heavy objects, potentially up to 50 pounds or more. Standing and walking for extended periods. Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Bending, stooping, and reaching to retrieve items from shelves or containers. Pushing and pulling carts or containers filled with materials. Maneuvering in confined spaces or crowded areas within the warehouse. Repetitive motions such as scanning barcodes, packing, or labeling items. Climbing ladders or stairs to access inventory stored at different heights. Working in various temperature conditions, including both hot and cold environments. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety gloves, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses to prevent injuries. WORK ENVIRONMENT Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperature conditions. Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments with delivery drivers, couriers, and carriers. Meeting strict deadlines to ensure timely delivery of technical equipment for events. Collaborating with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow. Keeping the warehouse clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency. Resolving shipping-related issues through effective communication with stakeholders. Adapting to changes in inventory, shipment schedules, or work assignments. Following strict inventory control procedures to accurately track and manage stock levels. Adhering to company policies on workplace conduct, safety regulations, and security protocols Engaging in ongoing training to enhance warehouse operations and logistics knowledge. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands. Here's What You Need: REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
