Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate at Critical Alert, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by managing both inbound and outbound processes. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for prepping, picking, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring they meet critical cutoff times and regulatory standards. You’ll also help consolidate stock, support inventory counts, and provide cross-functional backup as needed. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a warehouse environment. We offer comprehensive training, so no prior experience is required. If you have a valid driver’s license, can lift up to 50 lbs, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with room for growth, this role is perfect for you! Experience with forklifts, MS Office, or inventory management systems like Sage or Intacct is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform warehouse processes to support inbound and outbound operations
Accurately Prep, Pick, and Prepare shipping Orders to Meet Shipping Cutoff Times
Process Orders According to Critical Alert Processes and Regulatory Standards
Perform Stock Consolidation as Necessary to Improve Inventory Performance and Accuracy
Participate in Annual Inventory Count, As Needed
With Appropriate Cross-Training, Provide Back Up Support in Other Areas
Maintain Established Safety, Quality, and Productivity Metrics in Assigned Department
Other Related Duties as Assigned
What You Bring:
Warehouse experience is not required, we will train the best candidate
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Experience operating a forklift a plus
Experience using MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) a plus
Experience with Sage or Intacct a Plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into the purchase order and processing database.
Experience using forms and systems that are used and required by the major freight carriers is preferred but not required
Experience with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements is preferred but not required
