**Job Title: Warehouse Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join our team. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, inventory control, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse. This position will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished goods are properly stored, organized, and available for production when needed. **Responsibilities** + Receive, store, and organize raw materials, components, and finished products in the warehouse. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and product locations. + Prepare and stage materials and products for production or shipment, ensuring accurate order picking and packaging according to specifications and production schedules. + Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying that items match purchase orders and are free from damage. Ensure that outgoing shipments are packed and labeled correctly before distribution. + Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking materials as needed to maintain optimal levels, minimizing production downtime due to material shortages. + Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move goods throughout the warehouse. Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and request maintenance as necessary. + Accurately input inventory data into warehouse management systems (WMS) and keep records of transactions, including material receipts, shipments, and inventory adjustments. + Ensure all materials and products are inspected for quality and compliance before storing or shipping. Report any discrepancies or issues related to product quality or damage. + Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by regularly sweeping, tidying, and disposing of any debris or waste. + Work closely with production teams, inventory control, and purchasing to ensure that required materials are available for production. Provide support during inventory counts, audits, and other warehouse-related activities. + Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse operations, focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and enhancing material handling processes. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of forklift experience (forklift certified) + 5 years of inventory experience + 3-5 years of warehouse/material handler experience in a manufacturing environment **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in inventory control + Knowledge in shipping and receiving + Proficiency in material handling + Familiarity with warehouse inventory management systems (WMS) **Why Work Here?** We offer paid sick leave, paid time off (PTO), and full benefits once hired directly. Overtime may be required.
