**Job Description**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated **Warehouse Associate** to join our team. This position fluctuates between all areas of our warehouse including inbound, outbound and value-added service departments where they will be responsible for picking and packing product within our warehouse facility. Our ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and organized workspace.
**Principal Responsibilities:**
+ Must meet key performance indicators (KPIs) established within each department. These KPIs will be utilized to evaluate the performance and efficiency of every individual in their respective role within the warehouse.
+ Daily use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of numbers.
+ Verify inbound product counts and perform receiving transactions.
+ Understand, locate, and read product labeling; part numbers, UPC codes, catalog descriptions, and unit quantities.
+ Organize product picking from warehouse bins and pallet locations by utilizing picking carts, pallet jacks, and motorized tuggers.
+ Determine order and box packing volume requirements to select proper box usage and appropriate packing material and procedure.
+ Deliver picked and packed orders to designated workstations.
+ Examine and inspect materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
+ Mark and label boxes and/or products, using marking tools.
+ Verify and document outgoing shipments.
+ Operate handheld RF scanner as well as computer-based applications to determine products to be picked and packaged.
+ Use of tools to measure, weigh, and count products and materials (measuring tapes, scales, calculators, etc.)
+ Build boxes using tape guns and tape machines.
+ Maintain clean and organized work areas using 6S methodology utilizing cleaning tools, and sorting methods.
+ Hand load packages and pallets on to carriers or customers' trailer.
+ Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.
+ Load and unload trucks.
+ Participate in cycle counting and annual inventory events.
+ Follow all safety procedures.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment order picking, packing and conducting inventory.
+ Experience working with warehouse equipment such as tuggers, manual and electric pallet jacks, RF scanners, computer laptops, stretch wrap machines, bailers, banding equipment, tape machines, scales, packaging filler machines, dock locks & levers, jack stands, chocks and trash compactor.
+ _Good reading comprehension is critical to understanding and following standard work procedures._
+ Requires continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Good data entry skills and keyboard proficiency.
+ Microsoft Office Outlook or comparable email system.
+ Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required.
+ Experience with warehouse management systems such as SAP, AS400, Red Prairie, etc.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Standing and/or walking for up to 10-hour shifts with allotted breaks.
+ Use of safe lifting techniques while lifting, moving up to 50 pounds of product.
+ Frequent use of pulling trigger and pressing keys on handheld RF scanner.

**Compensation Information:**
This position is an hourly position and the U.S. annual base salary range for this full-time position is $18.70/hr. to $28.05/hr.. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to work experience, applicable education, job knowledge, role complexity, job geographic location, etc. This position is not bonus eligible.
