We are looking for a hard-working and dependable Warehouse Associate to join Wärtsilä Brazil, on a commissioning project run by Wärtsilä SAM Electronics GmbH - one of the world's leading electrical system integrators in shipbuilding in Germany.
The Warehouse Associate responsibilities include the manual label, picking and packing of materials, also always be able to maintain a safe work environment according to Wartsila safety procedures. To succeed in this role, you should be knowledgeable of standard warehouse practices and be able to lift or move heavy objects.
The professional will support the warehouse operations in all the incoming and outgoing of goods and commodities according to corporate guidelines. This position is based in Itajaí/SC, Brazil and will be reporting to the Manager Construction Sites, and travel will maybe be required.

Main responsibilities:
Hand/power tools safely Load / unload trucks and be responsible for the safe storage of delivered material Receive, count, stock, pick, pack items Cycle counting of inventory according to requirements Registering and releasing material requirements in cooperation with the back office Ensuring the timely provision of materials for site and subcontractor requirements Maintain warehouse supplies, tools and housekeeping of warehouse area Responsible for storage and handling of installation material Responsible for cable cutting by subcontractors according to the requirements of the construction site. Creation and management of documents for storage and order materials Checking incoming goods for completeness and undamaged condition
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
High school complete Technical course in logistics will be a diferencial Forklift certified is a plus Knowledge in Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Wärtsilä knowledge and business understanding Intermidiate English (written and spoken) Experience in commissioning will be a plus
