Our client in the Woodridge, IL area is looking to hire Warehouse Associates for their location. The ideal candidate will need the ability to work under deadline pressure as organization skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders. Responsibilities include assuring that the Warehouse is cleaned daily (sweeping/daily pickups of all trash on the floor). Maintain, sort, and organize merchandise to be easily located in proper bin locations.

The Day-to-Day:

Picking, packing, and loading/checking out of customers will call ordersAssure that product that is being packed for customer orders is 100% accurate and protectedProcess cable cuts, lagging/boxing of reels/coils, and palletizing reels per customer requirementsMaintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and proceduresEngage work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail-oriented.Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situationsClock in/out accurately and take rest and meal breaks as required per Company Policy

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaForklift experience is highly desired (will train)Ability to lift 50 lbs.Ability to stand for long periods and be able to bend and reach overheadExperience using a handheld scanner

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$17.00 to $17.50 /hrMonday to Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
