Why this role is important?

Overview:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently receiving, picking, checking, packing, and shipping customer orders while adhering to GMP guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Receiving:

   •        Welcome and assist delivery trucks.

   •        Receive and unload incoming products; verify packing slips against purchase orders.

   •        Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory.

   •        Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects and report findings to the team lead.

   •        Replenish warehouse shelves with received inventory.

   •        Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks for material handling.

 

Material Handling:

   •        Read and follow pick worksheets to handle materials.

   •        Verify product numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates.

   •        Conduct routine inventory counts.

   •        Utilize RF scanners for tracking.

   •        Update inventory and logistics software.

   •        Identify and report damaged or missing merchandise promptly.

   •        Adjust work orders based on inventory shortages.

 

Shipping:

   •        Process orders by pulling and packaging materials for delivery.

   •        Prepare shipments in line with SOPs, ensuring proper packaging and shipping methods.

   •        Replenish packaging materials in designated areas (warehouse, fridge, freezer).

 

Additional Responsibilities:

   •        Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and housekeeping practices.

   •        Comply with all regulations, rules, and policies.

 

Qualifications and Skills Required:

   •        High school diploma or equivalent.

   •        Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

   •        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

   •        Teamwork, coordination, organization, and time management skills.

   •        Familiarity with inventory control, data entry, and logistics software.

   •        Dependability and attention to detail.

 

Work Environment:

   •        95% of the work is performed while standing, with frequent bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, and lifting.

   •        Fast-paced work environment with routine and enhanced pressure during peak periods.

•        Clean and organized warehouse facility.

   •        Must be available for Sunday-Friday, day and afternoo shifts based on business needs.
