Our New Castle, DE client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on warehouse experience and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be certified in Sit-Down Forklifts, with a preference for those experienced in Combi Forklifts. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling deliveries, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse. This position requires a proactive approach to inventory management, customer service, and workplace safety. The Day-to-Day:

Load and unload Lansing delivery trucks, common carriers, and other shipments, including transfers.Ensure load accuracy by counting all materials and noting discrepancies on paperwork—no inventory should leave without a pick ticket or hand ticket.Independently verify orders before they leave the warehouse to ensure 100% accuracy.Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.Inspect company vehicles regularly to ensure safe operation.Receive customer returns at the dock and complete return slips promptly.Maintain proper inventory rotation using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.Restock all incoming materials and customer returns on the same day they are received.Greet customers promptly upon arrival at the dock and assist with loading their orders.
